HIGH CHOLESTEROL

Principal Therapy – blood purification.

Use a low protein, low fat, non-processed diet.  Fat is the worst enemy of the liver.  All heated fats should be avoided- no fried foods.  Avoid beer which supplies the body with carbohydrates which in turn produce fatty deposits.

Use sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and flaxseeds.  Suggested foods are bee pollen, green leafy vegetables, apples, all citrus fruits and juices, garlic, onions, pears, peaches, watermelon and its juice, sprouts, lemons, cabbage (red and green), spinach, dates and leeks.

Use the cleansing diet in this book for ten days and clean the bowels with an enema for five consecutive days.  Exercise daily to increase circulation.  Take one tablespoon of liquid chlorophyll in apple juice four times daily.

Short two day fasts every eight to ten days will remove fatty deposits quickly.  Use citrus juices or carrot, apple and spinach juices for this purpose.  Vegetable broths made from leeks, garlic and onions will purify the blood.  Remain on a vegetarian diet.

A.      Internal:  Take six hawthorn berry capsules and six chaparral capsules daily, alternating three every four hours.  The circulation is most important when the cholesterol is high.  Warm and cool alternating showers every morning followed with a brisk walk or jogging, is excellent.  Don’t evereat.  Prickly ash tea will improve our circulation (see also stimulants).  Siberian ginseng is used to reduce cholesterol.  Take two capsules three times a day between meals and first thing in the morning.  If they cause nervousness, reduce dosage.  Ginseng is not to be taken if there is inflammation, or fevers anywhere present in the body.

B.      Hydrotherapy:  Take cool, whole baths and warm and cool showers daily.
